| Iberville Bank was organized in Plaquemine,
Louisiana, on January 31, 1931, as a state-chartered bank domiciled in Iberville Parish.
Plaquemine, the parish seat of Iberville Parish, is a small community located on the
West Bank of the Mississippi River approximately 12 miles south of Baton Rouge. Fortune
500 petrochemical companies and related industries along the Mississippi River combined
with commercial fishing and agricultural interests, contribute to the Bank's continued
growth. Employing over 100 people, Iberville Bank is one of the largest
community banks in our market area which includes Iberville, West Baton Rouge,
Assumption, East Baton Rouge, Ascension and Livingston Parishes. The Bank
has Thirteen
ATMs located in Plaquemine, Port Allen, Addis, St Gabriel, Carville,
Plattenville, Prairieville, Baton Rouge, and Denham Springs. Iberville Bank
is unique in its operation of Iberville
Insurance Agency, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary that provides full service
insurance products.
In March, 1988, Iberville Bank
expanded its primary service area outside Iberville Parish by acquiring two branches in
West Baton Rouge Parish located in Port Allen and Addis. Four years later in
In December, 1992, the Bank moved its operations and
computer center into a spacious, state-of-the-art facility located directly behind the
Addis Branch. The 8,400 square foot facility increased bank operations capacity while
providing a productive work environment.
April, 1995, through another acquisition Iberville Bank
entered Assumption Parish and currently has two branches located in Plattenville and
Pierre Part. Further expansion occurred in October, 1997,
with growth into Livingston Parish and the addition of our Denham Springs branch. In September
2001 further expansion took place with the addition of our Prairieville
Branch in Ascension Parish. In April 2004 our most recent
branch expansion took place in East Baton Rouge Parish on Siegen Lane. Rated by Bauer Financial
